What we have learnt

Wow what a year so far. We have definitely learnt
a lot as a group. God has blessed this group
every step of the way. At first it seemed that it
was going to be a learning group set up like a co-
op but we decided that was not the route that we
wanted it to take so we have decided that we will
have a quick lesson on something fun and then we
get to do exciting, fun stuff. The kids get to
play and have that break that they need
from "school". The kids have made long lasting
friendships, and the parents have enjoyed
encouraging each other and making friendships
that are also long lasting. I have to say as the
leader it has been a bumpy road but God has been
right there with me. I am so glad that God led me
to start this group and I am very happy that I
have met these wonderful homeschoolers that love
their children very much. It makes me feel good
to look into my son's eyes and see his excitement
with his friends and know that I did the right
thing. Now don't get me wrong it has been hard
and stressful but I think that is all part of the
learning process of running a homeschool support
group.
God Bless each and everyone of you.

Memorial Day

Wow what a great time we had at the memorial day
cookout. A lot of thanks goes to Wanda for
hosting this at her house and for all the great
food. I learned something new on how to make more
patties out of ground beef thanks to Cheryl.
I was so happy to meet another new family.
The kids had such a great time playing together
and it is so nice to see kids playing and getting
along so well. We have a great group of kids in
this group and I praise God for that.
It was the greatest Memorial days I have ever had
and I want to express my thanks to all of the men
and women that have fought and are still fighting
for our freedom, may God Bless each and every one
of them and their families.
God Bless

Check out the amazing deal at TOS magazine

I promise you will not want to miss this deal.

I wanted to tell you about a special promotion
the magazine for homeschool families is running
right now. If you subscribe for just a year, you
actually (while supplies last) will receive 25
curriculum-type gifts from various vendors. The
value is huge -- hundreds of dollars' worth of
freebies to you. No strings attached -- except
that TOS only has about 2000 of these "gift
baskets" left in their inventory. First come,
first served. Here's the link which explains
more, below. You can even view all the gifts and
find out how they'll arrive. Hurry, though, they
go really fast. Last time the magazine did this
they sold out about two months early.
